The UGT581 square-shaped ultrasonic sensor from ifm electronic with a transducer frequency of 300 kHz, programmable switching output and scalable 0-10 V analogue output, has a range of 40-300 mm. The ultrasonic sensor UGT581 is easy to place into operation with the help of the programming buttons. Its high protection rating of IP67 and the M12 connector make use of the UGT581 ultrasonic sensor possible in many industrial areas such as for positioning of products, presence detection of objects and identification of persons.
